Murals for Colorado mountain schools
The Elevation Art Collaborative
WHY THIS MATTERS:
Kids spend thousands of hours in school hallways. Those walls can show them where they’re from.
Elevation Art Collaborative changes that. I paint large-scale murals of alpine landscapes, native wildlife, and each school's mascot, so kids see their home and community reflected back at them.
Students don't just look at these murals. They add the finishing touches, so every wall carries their hands for years after they move on.
How It Works
Walkthrough → design mockup → estimate → painted during the school day, with students invited to help.
Now painting: a bighorn sheep mural at Evergreen Middle School and an anatomical mountain scene at South Park High School.
Pricing & funding:
Murals priced to fit each school.
Reduced rates for accent walls this year.
I’ll help your PTA raise funds with a ready-made flyer and local sponsor outreach.
About the Artist
I'm Cristina Link, a professional artist and former K–12 art teacher with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, a Master's in Art Education, and continuing education in art therapy. I know how schools run, and I know how to make a hallway feel alive.
THREE WAYS TO BRING A MURAL TO YOUR SCHOOL:
Commission a Mural. Principals and PTAs: I'll walk your building, create a custom design mockup, and give you a clear estimate before anything is booked.
Sponsor a Wall. Local businesses: fund a mural, in whole or in part. Lead sponsors are credited on a sign beside the finished piece and thanked publicly at the reveal.
Contribute. When a school doesn't have an art budget, community sponsorships close the gap. Every level below goes directly toward a specific school's mural.
